Update 15th September 2008, I have now downloaded the Xbox 360 Fifa 09 Demo, to be honest very little has changed from Fifa 08 and the good news is the Fifa 09 Skill Moves are the same as last years game, but there are loads more skill moves to learn, discover and enjoy.
Below is a short list of some of the Skill Moves for Fifa 2009 and Fifa 2008 (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 & PSP)
After much practice…here is the list of skill moves and tricks I have learned so far for Fifa 08 (and Fifa 09) – and another great easy to follow video so you can become a master of the Fifa 2008 and Fifa 2009 skill moves on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 & PSP.
I personally play the Xbox 360 version, but the moves don’t change for PS2, PS3 or PSP versions of the game.
One very important point - most skill moves are based on where the goal is, so if you are performing a skill move in the start menu practice area, the pitch will be top to bottom, however in the game the pitch is left to right. You must change the controls in line with this.
For example, if a skill move in the start menu needed the stick to be pushed up and down twice, in the game it would need to be left and right twice.
The moves below are based on play being in-game, playing from left to right:
360 Spin
Hold LB Bumper and pull right stick left then round 360 degrees in a clockwise (or anti-clockwise) direction.
Stepover between legs
This move sees the player flick the ball through his legs in a stepover type move.
To perform the move hold th LB bumper button and move the right stick left, right, left.

The Rainbow Flick
I am very keen to find out how to do the over-head flick. I have now worked out how do do the overhead flick, which is called a ‘Rainbow Flick’ – I used the video below combined with lots of practice!
Update April 2008 – Hopefully by now most people are getting to grips with the Skill Moves on Fifa 08, only another 5 or 6 months and my Xbox 360 will have Fifa 09 upon it and we will have to start all over again.
It is rumoured that EA games will keep the skill moves for Fifa 09 the same as in Fifa 08 – let’s hope so.
Whether you will be playing Fifa 09 on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or PSP it is rumoured to be the best version of Fifa Soccer ever!

they seem to hard and long to try in a quick situation with ono on one’s and getting away from defenders…
i miss the trick where you flick it over your head and over the keeper. the keeper would foul you and get sent off lol…
i tried to do some of the tricks in the movie but the keeper still got the ball???
