What a weekend! I have just returned from Center Parcs in Longleat, UK and while I was there I bumped into Kelly Jones, lead singer of the Stereophonics (one of my favorite bands).
Kelly was a really nice guy, he was spending a few days on vacation with his family and was more than happy to chat while my little boy played in the park with his girls.
I even got a photo with him, so thanks Kelly Jones, pleased to meet you!

Hi I was also at center parcs that week and my wife and I were sure we’d seen him in the shop at the Jardin des Sports. Now I know I’m not going mad. Gonna book tickets for their greatest hits tour soon never been before should be good.

Small world! We first saw Kelly Jones at the supermarket in the main plaza and couldn’t believe our eyes, I honestly didn’t think it was him until I had a closer look.
Ended up seeing him 3 times in total, we were even chatting to him in the swimming pool, he probably thought we were stalking him.
It was totally surreal, especially as the Stereophonics are one of my favorite bands.
We are heading to Center Parcs again at Christmas time, I wonder which rock star we will see this time round!

Yeah, I was at Centerparcs that week too. I happened to be stuffing a king size ice cream down my neck down by the Jardin des Sports as he walked by. Bit of a surreal moment, that.

Didn’t know you liked the Sterophonics…they are AWESOME!!
I’ve met Kelly on quite a few occasions over the past year (normally before and after concerts!!) – he is such a nice normal down to earth guy (the whole band are actually!!). Must be great to meet him off duty though when he’s completely relaxed – I’ve seen him with his family once but that was when they were arriving at a gig and Kelly was really keen to keep them out of the limelight.

Cool, going to see Stereophonics in Birmingham in a couple of weeks. Seen them a couple of times before but not for a few years so really looking forward to it.
