If you have a blog hosted by Wordpress there is a very simple way of setting up a contact form.
Just add: [contact-form] into the page or post and bingo, you have got a fully functional contact form that will be e-mailed directly to the blog administrator when someone hits “submit”.
If your blog is hosted by Wordpress i:e domain.wordpress.com there is no other way of setting up a Contact Form, so this really is a God send for bloggers who need a Contact Form.
As this blog is on another server and therefore not hosted by Wordpress I can’t show you what the form looks like, so if anyone adds it please leave a comment so everyone can see.

I did not know that, and I’ve been using WP for ages!
I’d much rather toss up a form then drop an email link. I’ll have to bookmark this post if I decide to open another blog off of wordpress’s free hosting.
Thanks for the tip.
you must be kidding????
I had to search for a complete contact form script and install that and then my contact form was visible in wordpress…
and it was this easy??
Word Press is as amazing as one wanted…i liked it and it is very helpful…well i have to search for this contact and install it!
I don’t always think that WP is that user-friendly, and this is the perfect example. Thanks for the information, now I know how to add the contact form I’ve been wanting to put on my site.
Wordpress does need some amount of knowledge to make a full use of it’s features and this is one example-many people didn’t know how to make contact form while it was really simple and it definitely beats leaving email link on About page or solutions of that sort.
Oh my god its so simple!! Thanks so much for your help.Really appreciate it.
WP is great for a free software. The only thing that bugs me is the security upgrades, which seem frequent.
They should release a cut-down version that removes the user-input options as much as possible.
I had no clue it was this simple. That is crazy.
goodness, i tried whole night to figure out how to code the form. I didnt know just a one line code can make me a contact form. Thanks anyway.
Interesting post! You have a lot of great ideas that I would like to implement on my own blog.

My god!! It seems like not possible. Are you sure of that? I will be trying after some works here. I really love wordpress more and more and more.
Hey, this is really a great advice. It good thing there are so many plugins to help us, but you have to be careful not to overstuff your blog with it.
When you compare the early days of Wordpress.com hosted blog to the present days ther is a thick difference. I started my blog in wordpress.com and was too frustrated to find that there is absolutely no editing or customization possible. But now-a-days those ppl have woke up and gradually adding new functionality. Still a long way to go.
Nothing happing .. are you kidding. I’m finding the way to add it to my Blog.
I am little bit surprised to see that the online wordpress server is not more famous then blogger but personally the wordpress script is the best.
Thanks for the information. Sometimes thing are not as hard as we think.

cheap term paper
I use contact form 7 and cforms II for my contact forms in all of my blogs. They both work fantastic although I find contact form 7 is much quicker and easier to implement.
Nice one! For some reason I also found this quite hard to find. I did finally find the original WordPress note on this (posted below) but thanks for this and the other tips!
