I would have to agree that Kill Bill definitely fits the bill — it is an unforgettable film and set the bar high for gangster films.
yup this list is really good but how can u forget Godfather one and Kill bill,they are also one of the top most movies bcoz i saw both of them.
I just recently watched “21″ with Jim Sturgess and Kevin Bacon. I absolutely loved it. Is that a gangster movie? If it is, I nominate it to be part of the list.

That is a pretty good list of movies you have listed. My personal favorite from that list is Scarface. I think I would put that at top of my list.
I would choose catch me if you can. I’m not sure if that’s a gangster movie — but I loved the action in that flick.
The God Father might be the best gangster movie of all time, but Pulp Fiction might be the best overall movie of all time. Is that possible? I think so.

Miller’s Crossing should also be in the top ten of any top ten gangster movie list. I’d personally choose Reservoir Dogs over Pulp Fiction. And Godfather 3 should never be on a list of anything.
but all Godfather 1,2 and 3 are good.

I like action movies and I haven’t even seen any of these! Looks like its time to brush up on my gangster side. Thanks for the list of ideas. I’ve heard that Reservior dogs was a really good movie.
This could also have been called, a list of movies that fit between the Godfather movies.
youre def missing akira kuroswa`s and some spaghetti westerns but the list is quite good, and yes, GF 3 Is good.
the departed is relatively bad altogether, including production and other ridiculous stuff, american gangster is not that good
theres an old movie about murder inc ( charlie luchanna ) with anthony quinn and christian slater

Fantastic list!, i would agree with all but the only problem you have is that htere are also manyother really good ganster films that you could put in the top 10.

God father definately ha to go top but i would put scarface above reseovoir dogs any day.

scarface (1983) is not a gangetsr movie, its a drug movie. Pulp fiction could be higher on the list but if you watch the movie, its sort of a gangster movie, most of it is talking and other stuff, there is only 3 scene of acton and violence. All the other things in the 2hr 34min 19sec movie is talking.

How about a great modern ganster movie, check out The Departed.. Its too good

I would add something lighter ex Get Shorty. just for difrentiate. Another missing gold IMHO is Carlito`s Way. But this is top 10 no 12.
